Perform complex corrosion inspection using any number of accessories.

The automated SKOOT - Corrosion Mapping Scanner is a powerful scanner that can perform complex corrosion inspections while traversing all types of magnetic surfaces. Remote operation combined with one of any four lengths of raster arm ensures the SKOOT is the leader of automated two-axis corrosion scans.

Low Profile

The SKOOT requires a radial clearance of 11.4 cm (4.5 in), which allows for inspection in limited access applications.

Raster Arms

Available in 4 different lengths, the sophisticated raster arm delivers precision corrosion results. Program custom scan paths, intervals, speed and more for readings which are repeatable and highly configurable.

Magnetic Wheels

Using rare-earth magnets, the SKOOT can operate on vertical, horizontal and inverted surfaces.

Scan Versatility

The SKOOT can facilitate circumferential scans on pipes as small as 6.4 cm (2.5 in) OD and 68.6 cm (27 in) ID. In addition, flat surface scans and longitudinal scanning on pipes as small as 76.2 cm (30 in) OD are available.

The optional backpack conveniently carries ultrasonic accessories with the unit.

Handheld Controller

Program raster paths from up to 30 m (100 ft) away using the intuitive handheld remote control. The ergonomic handheld controller programs probe speed, intervals and so much more.

All components of the SKOOT system are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Probe Holder

From USD$ 916.29

Actuated Probe Lift

From USD$ 2,891.42

Preserve the life of a probe by raising it from the scan surface during transit from various inspection locations. The Actuated Probe Lift allows a NAVIC crawler to raise and lower a corrosion thickness probe holder to avoid obstacles and large welds, all while being controlled remotely from the handheld controller. Available with a 19 mm (0.75 in) receptacle (compatible with an Olympus D790) and a choice of flat or curved wear plate.

Corrosion Thickness Probe Holder - Curved Wear Plate

USD$ 957.02

The Corrosion Thickness Probe Holder carries various probes/transducers.

When used in conjunction with a raster arm connected to either the NAVIC or SKOOT, the Corrosion Thickness Probe Holder - Curved Wear Plate may assist with corrosion mapping (C-scans, or automated two-axis scans).

Corrosion Thickness Probe Holder - Flat Wear Plate

USD$ 916.29

Perform various corrosion mapping and thickness measurement inspection.

When used in conjunction with a raster arm connected to either the NAVIC or SKOOT, the Corrosion Thickness Probe Holder - Flat Wear Plate may assist with corrosion mapping (C-scans, or automated two-axis scans).

Heavy Duty Vertical Probe Holder

USD$ 1,272.63

Carry larger, special purpose probes with the Heavy Duty Vertical Probe Holder.

The PHS043 - Heavy Duty Vertical Probe Holder is designed to carry larger probes, such as the Olympus HydroFORM. It can also be used with a variety of probe/wedge combinations with a larger footprint (i.e. corrosion inspection probes), which may require more downforce applied during an inspection.

The heavy duty vertical probe holder is compatible with the raster arm and the ROTIX/STIX corrosion scanners and can be ordered with either a standard 8.28 cm (3.26 in) yoke or a wide 12.16 cm (4.79 in) yoke.

Raster Arm Actuated Probe Lift

From USD$ 2,967.78

Drive to multiple inspection locations without removing the scanner or risking probe damage. The Raster Arm Actuated Probe Lift mounts to any length of motorized raster arm and provides the ability to raise and lower the probe from the scan surface.

*To achieve steering with a 300 or 600 mm raster arm mounted to the NAVIC, the NAVIC Front Spacer Mount must be used. Contact Jireh for more information.

Probe Holder Accessory

From USD$ 366.52

HydroFORM Cart

Use a HydroFORM™ Cart to carry a Olympus HydroFORM™ probe. The cart is mounted within the arms of the Heavy Duty Vertical Probe Holder. That probe holder is then affixed to a motorized raster arm or manual corrosion scanner.
