The TERAX - Base Crawler is a high-powered device that utilizes a hovering magnet and rubber tracks to navigate without causing any damage to the ferrous asset it operates on. Its powerful motors allow the TERAX to be steered vertically, allowing precise and controlled movements. Handles on the device provide an easy grab point for convenient handling and transport.
In addition to its exceptional functionality, the TERAX crawler also offers encoded positional data. This means it can accurately track and communicate its position during operation, providing valuable information to the user and making the TERAX a versatile and reliable tool for various applications.
Features
Hovering Magnet
This advanced feature ensures that the magnet hovers just above the surface, providing a secure hold without any contact that could cause damage. Plus, with the added benefit of rubber tracks, you can rest assured that your valuable assets are protected while the TERAX effortlessly glides across the surface.
Rubber Tracks
Engineered to provide exceptional traction and stability, these tracks are designed to overcome uneven surfaces and small obstacles in your path.
Steering
Regarding turning, the TERAX utilizes a technique called differential steering. This method involves operating the left and right tracks at different speeds, allowing the machine to make turns by skidding or dragging its tracks across the ground.
Low Profile
Requiring only 5 inches of vertical clearance, this innovative equipment navigates tight spaces and restricted areas.
Handles
The handles on the scanner serve as a convenient holding point, allowing you to maneuver and transport the device easily. But that's not all - these handles are also removable, allowing you to reduce the scanner's horizontal size when needed.
Cable Management
Cable management (sold separately) goes beyond just protecting cables and hoses; it also plays a crucial role in keeping them organized. We all know the frustration of dealing with tangled, messy cables that can waste valuable time.
Corrosion Inspection
Attach the Motorized Raster Arm to your TERAX to perform thorough inspections and accurately measure the thickness of asset walls. With its advanced technology and reliable performance, the Motorized Raster Arm empowers you to conduct comprehensive corrosion inspections and obtain accurate asset thickness measurements of ferrous surfaces.
RECON - Camera System
Imagine having the power to drive, steer, and monitor your TERAX vehicle remotely in real-time. Well, that's precisely what you can do with the optional RECON camera!
Battery Power
Order the TERAX with the battery kit and avoid using heavy, cumbersome generators. These rechargeable batteries can power the TERAX system and accessories for hours.
Warranty
At JIREH, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our hardware products. That's why we are pleased to offer a warranty that protects against defects in materials and workmanship.
