Component Identification

Power Controller
The power controller connects the user instrument and handheld controller to the base crawler and is compatible with North American and European power sources.
Umbilical
The umbilical connects the crawler and the base crawler, providing communication and power between the components.
NAVIC - Base Crawler
The base crawler is designed to handle actuated probe lifts effortlessly. Additionally, its modular design allows for seamless integration with various components for corrosion inspection, nozzle examination, and different types of weld inspection.
Handheld Controller
The handheld controller joysticks contain the NAVIC operating system and control the speed and steering of the base crawler. At the same time, the intuitive touchscreen allows for probe lift capabilities and Tracker control.
Actuated Probe Lifts
Using the handheld controller, two actuated probe lifts raise and lower probes from the scan surface.
Split auxiliary Cable
This one-metre cable plugs into the NAVIC umbilical and splits to connect to each actuated probe lift.
Frame Bars
Two 10 cm (3.9 in) frame bars provide the mounting point for the actuated probe lifts to attach to the NAVIC.
