Component Identification

Power Controller

The power controller connects the user instrument and handheld controller to the base crawler and is compatible with North American and European power sources.

Umbilical

The umbilical connects the crawler and the base crawler, providing communication and power between the components.

NAVIC - Base Crawler

The base crawler is designed to handle actuated probe lifts effortlessly. Additionally, its modular design allows for seamless integration with various components for corrosion inspection, nozzle examination, and different types of weld inspection.

Handheld Controller

The handheld controller joysticks contain the NAVIC operating system and control the speed and steering of the base crawler. At the same time, the intuitive touchscreen allows for probe lift capabilities and Tracker control.

Actuated Probe Lifts

Using the handheld controller, two actuated probe lifts raise and lower probes from the scan surface.

Split auxiliary Cable

This one-metre cable plugs into the NAVIC umbilical and splits to connect to each actuated probe lift.

Frame Bars

Two 10 cm (3.9 in) frame bars provide the mounting point for the actuated probe lifts to attach to the NAVIC.
