Experience precise and efficient inspection of nozzle and fitting welds

The ROTIX - 3-Axis Nozzle Scanner facilitates semi-automated inspection of nozzle welds. A specialized long-stroke probe holder features encoded skew angle measurement, while the scanner employs a chain system for stable inspection on ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. The scanner can also limit clearance inspection, requiring just 12.5 cm (4.9 in) between the vessel and the flange.

Flange Inspection

Our Nozzle scanner is designed to accommodate varying heights, including flanges as low as 12.5cm to the vessel. With its adaptable design, the ROTIX easily adjusts to different diameters, ensuring comprehensive inspections of welds. 

ADJUSTABLE QUICKLINK CHAIN

Using QuickLinks and an adjustable QuickLink buckle, various flange and nozzle diameters can be effortlessly scanned. Quicklinks facilitate swift and hassle-free connections, and assembling various chain configuration lengths is a breeze.

Encoded Skew Vertical Probe Holder

This inventive probe holder offers 12.2 cm (4.8 in) of vertical travel and an encoded skew measurement, which measures the angle of the probe.

Skew Encoding

Experience unparalleled flexibility with the adjustable probe direction. Our innovative skew feature allows you to independently adjust the probe's direction while the encoded angle of the probe is seamlessly provided to your instrument.

Slider Probe Positioning System (PPS)

Simply make the necessary adjustments to your probe's location on the fly, saving you valuable time. The Slider PPS uses a leadscrew system to easily adjust the probe's distance from the weld while the lock knob prevents any accidental movement.

Y-Axis Encoding

Equipped with a state-of-the-art PPS encoder, our scanner accurately tracks the position of the probe, providing you with real-time feedback on its location.

QUICKLINKS

Designed for ease of use and convenience, Quicklinks connect quickly and securely without complicated tools or lengthy processes. Just latch them together, and you're good to go. The user-friendly design also means you can effortlessly disconnect QuickLinks by pressing a button. Component Idetification

Low Profile Link

The low profile link contains the primary positional encoder and a mounting point for a frame bar. Two encoder inputs are located at the rear of the link, along with the output to the user’s instrument. 

Encoder Cable

The J400 encoder cable is custom-built with high-quality materials and advanced technology to match the instrument of the user's choice. This cable ensures seamless and accurate communication between the scanner and your instrument.

ENCODED SKEW VERTICAL PROBE HOLDER

A probe holder capable of exceptional vertical travel features a 3rd axis of encoded skew measurement.

QuickLink

Achieve the perfect length for mounting your system on a pipe thanks to QuickLinks. These versatile links allow you to assemble the required length quickly, ensuring a secure and reliable chain configuration.

Frame Bar

The frame bar connects the accessories, Slider PPS and encoders to the lowprofile link.

Slider PPS

The Slider Probe Positioning System (PPS) positions the probe using a leadscrew system.

SLIDER PPS ENCODER

Measure probe distance from the weld. The slider PPS (probe positioning system) encoder mounts to the Slider PPS. The Slider PPS Encoder engages with the encoded lead screw to provide lateral positional feedback of the probe.

CABLE CLIP

Cable Clips provide a secure and organized way to manage cables and hoses. Place the cables and hoses into the cable clip, ensuring a neat arrangement. Then, press the cable clip onto any scanner or frame bar's dovetail groove. This allows for a firm and reliable attachment, preventing cables from getting tangled or becoming a hindrance during operations.

DOVETAIL QUICKLINK

The Dovetail QuickLink helps you expand your chain configuration and is a versatile connector for accessories such as cable management.

QuickLink Buckle

Effortlessly adjust chain tension to achieve optimal performance of your scanner. Not only that, but the QuickLink Buckle also serves as a reliable connection point for the QuickLinks.

Cable Management

Reduce the chance of damaging sensitive probe cables and keep irrigation hoses organized and clean in cable management.
