High Temperature QuickLinks

The Dovetail QuickLinks have been thoughtfully engineered to minimize heat transfer by limiting contact with the heated surface and utilizing stainless steel materials. Moreover, QuickLinks effectively straddle the weld, preventing scanner wandering and reducing overall scanner width.

ROTIX LOW PROFILE LINK

In addition to containing the scanner's positional encoder, the low profile link transmits all three encoder signals to the user's instrument. Utilize the low profile link's dovetail grooves to mount cable clips and organize cables and tubes.

SLIDER PROBE POSITIONING SYSTEM

Experience the convenience and accuracy of our Slider PPS system, and make quick adjustments to the probe's distance from weld without the need for scanner removal. With the included encoder, you can rely on precise measurements, ensuring accurate and consistent results.

Component Idetification

High Temperature Low Profile Link

The low profile link contains the primary positional encoder and a mounting point for a frame bar. Two encoder inputs are located at the rear of the link, along with the output to the user’s instrument. 

Encoder Cable

The J400 encoder cable is custom-built with high-quality materials and advanced technology to match the instrument of the user's choice. This cable ensures seamless and accurate communication between the scanner and your instrument.

Encoded Skew Vertical Probe Holder

A probe holder capable of exceptional vertical travel and features a 3rd axis of encoded skew measurement.

High Temperature Cable Management, Dovetail Mount

Our High Temperature Cable Management system is designed to be easily mounted to any dovetail grooves on the scanner or Dovetail QuickLinks. This innovative material serves a crucial purpose by protecting cables and hoses from the extreme surface temperatures that the scanner may encounter.

Frame Bar

The frame bar connects the accessories, Slider PPS and encoders to the low profile link.

Slider PPS

The Slider Probe Positioning System positions the probe using a leadscrew system.

Slider PPS Encoder

Measure probe distance from the weld. The slider PPS (probe positioning system) encoder mounts to the Slider PPS. The Slider PPS Encoder engages with the encoded lead screw to provide lateral positional feedback of the probe.

High Temperature Dovetail QuickLink

With the QuickLinks, users can easily extend the length of their chain configuration. The HT Dovetail QuickLink helps you expand your chain configuration and serves as a versatile connector for accessories while resisting the effects of high temperature environments.

Cable Clip

Cable Clips provide a secure and organized way to manage cables and hoses. Place the cables and hoses into the cable clip, ensuring a neat arrangement. Then, press the cable clip onto any scanner or frame bar's dovetail groove. This allows for a firm and reliable attachment, preventing cables from getting tangled or becoming a hindrance during operations.

High Temperature QuickLink Buckle

The QuickLink Buckle serves two important functions in your setup: it allows for easy chain tension adjustment and acts as the connection point for the QuickLinks assembly.
