Phased Array Weld Inspection
Magnetic wheels, a spring-loaded encoder, and adjustable slip joint probe holders complete the main components of the STIX - 2 Probe Phased Array Scanner. Add a frame bar, brakes, required tools and a rugged carrying case to complete this extremely functional, yet easy to operate the manual magnetic scanner. Translate two phased array probes around ferrous piping and vessels with minimal adjustment between scan setups.

Features
Stix Frame
The STIX frame includes convenient handles for scanner handling as well as mounting points for accessories.
Spring-loaded encoder
A spring-loaded encoder ensures accurate scanner positioning. The 5V DC TTL encoder is fully compatible with all standard instruments.
Brakes
Brakes are provided to lock the location of the scanner in a required position.
Magnetic Wheels
The magnetic wheels are coated with urethane to reduce the effects of foreign debris obstructing the rolling of the scanner. To further increase the flexibility of the system, the wheels are also stackable to increase the magnetic attraction when required.
Slip Joint Probe Holders
The extremely adjustable slip joint probe holders accommodate most of phased array wedges.

Build with custom frame bar lengths, the wheel blocks of the STIX frame offer mounting points for accessories and the magnetic wheels.
Spring-loaded encoder
Precise encoder tracks scanner position on the scan surface.
Phased Array Probe Holder
Carry phased array probes and wedges with near infinite adjustment with the use of the probe holder.
Brakes
Brakes on either side of the scanner prevent unwanted scanner movement.
