The bracket of the Main Knob assembly attaches into the Frame Bar dovetail groove of a Slider Probe Positioning System and houses the bearings for the knob. The knob is clamped onto the lead screw so that the knob and the lead screw rotate as one. The Main Knob assembly may be positioned on the Frame Bar wherever it is most convenient.
